For the Head of Espionage and Intelligence in the WRO, these abnormal and fractured lands sure made things difficult. There was so much uncharted terrain for the young shinobi to explore, to familiarize herself with so that she could perform her duties more efficiently.
Not that Yuffie was ever had a strict sense of duty, per se.
But she loved the world that she had fought so hard to protect, and to see it hurt like this, well, it had her working rather vigilantly recently, despite the harsh heats that sat stagnant in the air. The feathered mounts that adorned these forests weren’t doing any better, it seemed —they were making strange noises after all, and with a childish whine, she slumped against a nearby tree.
"So hooot…." She complained to the unforgiving air.
This had become part of her jobs, to check on the Chocobos every once in a while. The large bird gave her a ‘kweh!’ before trotting off with its friend.
It was then that she heard the whining and complaining voice behind her. The pinkette turned, searching for the source. Her eyes fell upon the form of the little shinobi sitting in the shade of tree. In this heat, it was a surprise that the trees themselves haven’t burst into flames.
“Then why’d you come here? I doubt you’re here to relax.” That was impossible. It was far too hot.
